She ate sushi in Sushi Tei, her sister treat her. It tasted so yummy!!! Finally I understood why SinChan’s father kept staring on the plate while he sat on the sushi bar and waited for certain plate. Ra just wanna share my experience though…apparently the darker the color of the plate then the more expensive the sushi is. Her sister and her aren’t rich girls so they picked and ate sushi on the light color plate. he3X…but it’s delicious!

Ra rewatched Matrix again. She’s heard from her future brother in law, dodi, that his senior, if she’s not mistaken, wrote Thesis based on only the title of the book that he saw in Matrix. Then Ra paid attention to that…Matrix movie has its symbol that wrapped the whole movie story which is the title of the book, the book that Neo used to keep costumer’s CD. The book is entitled Simulacra and Simulation. ‘Simulacra’ means:
1. A representation or image of something,
2. Something that has a vague, tentative, or shadowy resemblance to something else.
While ‘simulation’ is:
1. The reproduction of the essential features or something, e.g. as an aid to study or training,
2. False appearance: the imitation of something.
And those definitions are the theme of the Matrix. The appearance of the book is also in the almost the beginning of the movie. It’s such a foreshadowing.
Here are the thoughts: common people in East, Indonesia, whatever…uses to say that females don’t choose males do. Well, Ra guesses it is no longer the way it is.
Toa told her that maybe Ra should find out a man that mature and ready. It sounds like a cake, doesn’t it? “Hey! I wanna eat a cake. Mmm…should I cook it or should I just buy in store?”
No longer than that Ra read in Cita Cinta that choosing a man is like choosing shoes. You can find it well shaped, good-looking, and not expensive, but it hurts and kills each of your toes or you can find it ugly and expensive but it feels comfortable. So…Ra thought a man is also both a cake and shoes.
Ra’s listening to Faithless – Woozy. It is The Beach soundtrack. Ra love "The Beach". She used to be a kind of person that fantasying live in a wood eats fruits and fishes. That’s why she always climbed Guava tree in her house background and eat the fruit on the tree when she was a little girl, thing that made her dad yelled at her and got panicked. She used to hear it when she was in college when she felt that she had enough with the books, theories, and thoughts and she wanted to loose conscious for a while. She really loves the sound in the song that sounds like gamelan. Well…this song can help her to loose my conscious for about 7.52minuetes then she woke herself by listening to Mory Kante – Yeke Yeke, still The Beach soundtrack, followed by Barry Adamson – Richard, It’s Business as Usual and New Order – Brutal. Other songs that can help her to loose conscious or gain relaxation are Angelo Badalamenti and Orbital – Beached, Ra likes the voice of Leonardo Di Caprio especially when he said “Hit me,” and Dario G. – Voices especially part “Nanananana…”, the music in this song feels like bring her to the beach – or maybe because she’s just saw her desktop since it shows ‘Azul’ ha3x…!
Watching The Beach is like reading the works of Joseph Conrad, the in between guy. Richard is a foreign from a so called the advanced breed country, America, get into a new place, the third world, and join the colony which consist of British, Sweden, France, etc. Somehow, he found out that he and his people the so called advance breed is the pollutant, that their selfishness to build their paradise means that they have to loose somebody’s life, like the colonialist did. And…Richard felt guilty and went insane.
Ra’s lecturer, Mr. Bima, said that it is the art and the joy of studying literature, you cannot stop criticizing. At first, Ra and most of English Dept. students didn’t believe the idea and felt disturbed by this new critics loving behavior. But now…She knew what he meant, she liked it. Yeah, she knew…her sister and her brother still think that she bugs them when watching any kind of movie and they think that Ra’s little bit insane, who isn’t?
This is A Poem for My R.I.P Cousin, Daniel Candra:
A Poem For Daniel
Boy You Never Complained, Didn’t You?
Pain that You Felt and Kept inside
Now You’re Gone Forever, Aren’t You?
But, You’ll Still Live with Us, inside
Too Soon God Took You from Us, Dear
Maybe You’d Known but Showed No Fear
A Good Son You’d Been Dear Daniel
May You Rest in Peace, Sweet Daniel
This is A Poem that I created while I attened Poetry I Class:
A Tiny Human
I’m a Tiny Human
Live in a Giant Globe
Fear My Heart Can’t Cope
To Follow the World’s Demand
I Open My Eyes and Face the World
It’s Chaos Makes Me Want to Mourn
But I’m so Tiny and Tears that I Drop
Praying to God with Full of Hope
It’s gloomy, isn’t it?
